The Animal League Wellness Center assists in addressing issues surrounding our community, such as pet overpopulation, by providing affordable pet care to those pets and families that need it most. Our vet clinic is a division of The Animal League, a non-profit animal rescue and welfare organization. When you donate to our vet clinic, you are helping other pet owners spay/neuter their pet who otherwise could not afford it. You also help to keep our costs low so that we can offer the Central Florida community low cost vet services, without the sacrifice of high quality. Every pet deserves quality care. Help us advance our mission through cash or in-kind donations!
In-Kind Donations
We welcome your help in providing supplies for our clinic and The Animal League adoption center. Purchased items can be dropped off here at the Wellness Center during opening hours, or you may like to make a donation from The Animal League Amazon Wish List and have it delivered directly to the Adoption Center. If you would like a receipt for your donation, or for information on gifting large items, please visit The Animal League website.
We are currently in need of the following:
Cleaning Supplies
- Bleach (any brand, just not Low-Splash please)
- Liquid laundry detergent (High Efficiency)
- Paper towels, toilet paper
- Disinfecting wipes
- Kitchen and larger size trash bags: 14 gallon, 33+ gallon, 55 gallon
- Dish detergent
- Liquid hand soap
Pet Supplies
- Canned Pedigree brand dog or puppy food
- Puppy Replacement Milk (KMR)
- Cat litter
- Durable chew toys such as Nylabone brand chews and Kong brand toys
- Dog harnesses and leashes of all sizes
- Pet shampoos
- Gift certificates for home improvement, Amazon, and pet stores
- Kuranda style beds – plastic only, no metal
- Towels/Sheets/Blankets that can fit into a washing machine (no comforters please)
- Frontline or equivalent flea/tick control
- Pedigree Small Bites dry dog food
Cash Donations
We offer quality and affordable veterinary care to everyone, including a wide variety of Wellness Clinic services, with no income requirements. Additionally, proceeds from our Wellness Center will benefit the mission and programs at The Animal League and help other pets seeking their forever family.
